1. Self-service: The bed user does need to use a crank or a motor to lift it up or low it down for the sitting or lying positions, and can use the side cabinet, table, toilet bowl and washing devices on his/her own. (Still, an outlet is provided for adding a motor to upgrade the bed).
2. The panel against which the user may sit has an ergonomic smooth curved shape that reduces back slip and pressure on the chest, making the user feel comfortable when sitting.
